Pocket Court does not collect your personal data. There is no account to create, no sign-up, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. The game runs entirely on your device and works with no internet connection at all.
The one exception is Game Center, Apple's own leaderboard service. It is off until you explicitly turn it on, and it is described in full below.
Pocket Court saves a small amount of information locally on your iPhone, using Apple's standard app storage:
None of this is transmitted anywhere. It never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Pocket Court reads your device's accelerometer so that tilting the phone rolls the ball. This reading happens in real time, is used only to drive the physics on screen, and is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
Pocket Court offers world leaderboards, one for each court, through Apple's Game Center. This is opt-in. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly agree.
The first time you open the app, a screen asks whether you want to join the world rankings, and states what would be sent before you decide. Until you tap yes, no score is submitted, no score is saved for later submission, and the app does not even sign in to Game Center.
